Most of the menu is family style, which is fine. My experience wasn't great. To begin, the prices in the restaurant and whats shown online aren't the same. If a restaurant raises its prices, they need to update web info to reflect that. The portions are the next complaint, the serving of hushpuppies was 30% less than the online menu stated and one was burned horribly. The portion problem was with the side dishes; they were tasty but less than I expected from a Family Style serving. We had catfish, it was made well, but no tartar sauce came out with it. When the server brought it to our table, there wasn't enough for the fish we had. Lastly, the service was sub-par; our server didn't follow up to see how we were doing or offer to freshen our drinks. When I go to a restaurant that specializes in Family Style, I expect the generosity on the table to match the tab.

I have been here on numerous occasions and everytime was forgettable. The food is nothing special and everything seems to be fried. I would go again if i had a gift card and it was the only place i could use it at. The only positive thing i can say is the staff was friendly.

Waitress was very attentive. 12 year old son LOVED the mac & cheese. Had pickle chips and mushrooms for apps. Both were very good. I had the seafood plate. Hard to screw up breaded fried food, so it was ok. Corn and baked beans for sides were pretty bad. Soon had the McCoy plate. Catfish was good, and like I said, the mac & chz. Wife had the grilled chicken. Pretty dry, but had good flavor. I felt that out was overpriced. Considering everything is from a can or frozen and fried, but overall enjoyed it.

Food here was very dry. Had the chicken and cat fish. Mac and Cheese was the best part. Service was good.

Everyone's friendly here. Food is good. I got the ribs and shrimp yum. The tea is delicious. Like better than Starbucks. Only thing that could change is being checked in on more. That's it. This transplanted family from Chicago burbs will be back.

I don't come hete alot and I live very close but I do the food is always hot and I get friendly service. Now I only come for lunch so I can't speak of dinner service. I see its crowded at night so they must be doing something right.

the hush puppies are awesome, the catfish is on point. I thought their famous chicken strips where very dry and overcooked. the fries, seemed like generic restraunt food service fries... jesi's pork barbecue was ok, not great... they appear to use canned grean beans and they dont doctor them up proper like a "southern style" restaurant should (bacon, etc). the mashed potatos looked to be dried flakes but jesi said the pepper gravy was good. Lemonade was probably from a bag, but they serve it in a Ball Canning Jar... i had the mac and cheese, definately wasnt a "yo, you gotta try this mac n cheese, mac n cheese...' it wasnt bad though Service was somewhat slow being that catfish fries in no time, the green beans where canned, and the probably had big hotel pans of them ready anyway (along with the instant mash). Of course, I guess they need time to cook all the juiciness OUT of the chicken strips... So it sounds like im slamming them pretty hard right? Well... to be honest, we all left there very very full. I really thought the catfish was good. and after trying out many many more places I will return here since everybody cleaned their plates and my 4 year old liked it a lot... I think next time i'll just get catfish and hushpuppies as those are on point at this place....

Great service but the food wasn't that great. Tried the catfish and BBQ beef and both were bland.

WIthout a doubt the WORST restaurant ive ever been to in my life! Seriously, if I could rate it 0 stars I would. The mashed potatoes come from a box (she told me when I complained) we waited over an hour with our two small children (as did everyone because there was one big party before us that came in) everything comes from a can, the meat is dry and way too salty. I agree, not a single adult in sight. All teenagers. Then they tried to overcharge me on my bill. I will never go to this place again. I dont have the words to describe how terrible to food and service was. It ended up with me asking for crackers to eat it was that bad and I was that hungry after the long wait.

This is some good fried catfish & hush puppies. The place seems to be owned & run by teenagers. I never see anyone that seems to be in charge, but so far no problems.

A group of us went to this location for lunch. We had purchased 2 coupons ($30 value for $15) and showed them to the waitress when we placed our orders. She informed us that only one coupon could be honored per table. Since we have been to other restaurants who have honored coupons under similar circumstances, we felt our coupons should have been accepted, so the waitress said she would check with the manager. She informed us that the manager would not okay the use of both coupons for our group. So we asked to speak to the manager. She said the restaurant makes no money on the coupons and that the owner has the policy explained to us earlier. We understood that the restaurant would not make money on this visit because of the use of coupons--it's called "advertising"; a company advertises to get people to come in, try the product, and hope people will return customers happy with a previous pleasant dining experience. Since we were not happy with this experience, we left. We will probably return at a future date only because we still have the coupons, but doubt if they will ever see our pretty faces again. It's also unlikely that we will make a after we use our coupons as it sounds like previous customers have written poor reviews regarding both food and service. So, we hope this company will change their policy for use of coupons by groups, or just not offer coupons (e.g. Advertisement ). Not only were we disappointed with our visit but we definitely advise our friends not to patronize this restaurant. Maybe we would recommend to people we dislike, but not to friends. Actually, based on our experience, I don't see how this restaurant has been in business as long as it has. If you decide to try them I hope for your sake that it turns out better for you.
